Like frozen leaves

Iona

I drew this some days ago and finished it off last night. I like both the darker and lighter drawing, but sometimes I just prefer the lighter one^^ I named her Iona for some reason :P

Old drawings - Sylvanas Windrunner

I've decided to post my favorite and first drawing of my favorite game character-Sylvanas Windrunner from World of Warcraft universe. I drew this after seeing a very beautiful computer generated drawing of her by Jiao Qiao. The theme of her picture here is "The Lament of the Highborne" and that is a lot to explain as she has some history-she is singing a lament for her lost life before she became a Highborne. Sooo..I made this 2 years ago with pencil, carchoal, white soft chalk pastel, white paint and loads of smudging! I can not live without that :P ! Sorry for the letters above it but it took me a lot of time to do this and I put much into it... When I decide to draw a character it must be really important for me, makes me feel different things in any way and has a meaning... :) I hope one day I will design my own Lady Sylvanas, in the way I see her through what I read in Warcraft books!..
